Andrew's knowledge of the local waters and the area in general really enhanced the trip as he provide insight on the local wildlife, and also recommended places to see for the remainder of our trip. Now, on to the important part - the flapjacks. What a treat, they are out of this world!

We had an excellent few hours on the water around Scalpay with him and another couple - seeing the... read more islands from the water was a new and really wonderful experience, and was utterly beautiful. We saw seals, seabirds, and even a sea otter! Andrew guided us expertly around the coast, into pretty little coves, and onto slightly choppier open water - and tea on a pebbly beach towards the end was a welcome surprise! When thunder started rolling in over the sea he was great about being extra cautious and getting us to shore as quickly as possible. Luckily we missed being pummelled by rain (and lightning) but did have the bonus of some dramatic thundery scenery as we paddled back to shore! Thanks Andrew - a superb experience.

Well worth pulling ourselves out of bed after too much whisky the night before! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Harris - so much fun and... read more got some proper paddling in with some decent waves (rather than just splashing about in the harbour) so that was really rewarding. Saw loads of wildlife, and had a lovely cup and tea and some flapjacks on a little island half way. Can't recommend it enough! Thanks Andrew!
